I use this for plein air painting and love it. Sturdy, light, and small enough to fit comfortably in my backpack. I’d recommend it without reservation.
This thing is way too gimmicky. Converting into a monopod has way too many issues, too many screw points that easily come loose when trying to twist anything or unlocking the legs, or rotating the base. If you barley unlock the legs, you also run the risk of barley unlocking too far and the whole leg with fall out.Base plate constantly coming loose no matter how hard I tightened it down. To top it all off, I reached out to Fotopro to ask a few questions and was amazed to receive some of the rudest customer service I've experienced. I had a question about the level, and if it was working properly, and they told I could buy more accessories to compensate. So instead of ensuring their product was working properly, they said I should buy accessories instead that work properly i.e. an attachable level.
Was very easy to set up. It held weight of up to 22 pounds I really like it. So far, it’s everything that’s been advertised. It’s also very Compact and easy to carry around on the side of my back.
Used it one time and the screw got stuck. Unable to loosen it whatsoever.Update:They got in touch with me right away and send me a brand new one.
Best bipod for the price by far!
